This year we have four presenters. Two will speak on characterization and two on plotting. Each author will also spend a few minutes discussing ‘process’.
“Characterization: The Key To Story-Telling”
Linda Andrews is the author of over 15 published works with four separate small presses and her own indie press. Linda says: “While each manuscript is a unique journey, the adventure only begins when all the characters have arrived.”
“Using Point-Of-View To Establish Character”
Stacy Cornell has published 5 books with Harlequin Special Edition and is in the process of writing her first Special Edition miniseries called the Pirelli Brothers. Stacy says, “By deepening POV, a writer can deepen the sense of character for the reader.”
“One Hour To A Full-Blown Plot”
Vijaya Schartz has published over twenty titles and will do a plotting session, like she does in her seminars. Vijaya says, “Come with an idea or a premise, and get the rough plot in one hour.”
“Using Plot-Drives To Layer Your Story”
Valerie Bosna has published over 55 novels and novellas with St. Martin’s Press, Kensington Publishing Corp, and her latest indie publishing efforts. Valerie says, “Making use of plot-drives to layer your story from scene-to-scene will help you build to a strong climax and a satisfying resolution.”
